AirBnB Travel Essentials
When traveling to an Airbnb, I’ve learned how important it is to pack a few essential items to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience. These are applicable to any type of travel but you’ll see with a couple of these items how they apply solely to car travel. 😉
First, we are coffee snobs and it’s an important part of our morning routine. The addition of a traveling coffee maker has been a game changer and vacation enhancer for us. This one has a compartment for 9 pods but we’ve been known to sneak a few more in it's travel bag.
With the coffee maker we also bring our own Coffee cups. . These are a lightweight metal so we don’t have to deal with breakage and they have lids.
Whether you’re traveling with others or alone having a lightweight Robe is perfect for gathering in public spaces in the morning or just as a little cover from bed to bath. p.s. these make great gifts, too.
…and with your robe you must have Slippers. or Flip flops . Even though the floor may be clean, it’s not as clean as your house!
Travel candles are always in my bag no matter where I’m traveling to. It’s nice to clear the air or add a little ambiance. There are so many options but I always look for the ones in metal tins. Buying theses smaller versions are a great way to sample some new scents. Just don’t forget matches!
I compartmentalize my hair products together in a Reusable bags. n case anything spills. I keep this silicone packed with everything I might need: dry shampoo, regular shampoo & conditioner, hairspray, mousse, and a travel brush.
I find that using smaller makeup bags are easier for travel especially since bathrooms can be small counter space limited. I have one for hair and one for makeup and one for everything else. This means I can scoop up my makeup to apply in another room if there’s limited mirror time.
And you must have a magnifying mirror if you’re using other rooms for putting on makeup. Or if you’re my age. 😉
As much as I hate to admit it, I really sleep better with my pillow. You never know if you’ll have good ones that suit YOUR sleep needs so it’s best to not leave that one to chance. Bring your own and you k now you’ll sleep well.
By packing these essential items, travelers can feel more at ease and increase their enjoyment of the Airbnb experience. Pack as much as you can ahead of time so you’re not scrambling at the last minute to remember everything.
